Anal Times
I worked as an IT help desk tech for a small architecture firm.
My boss was a scatterbrained ass. I have so many stories about the
crap he pulled and his firing that I’ll be happy to share with you.
At one point he sent me on this impossible quest to find a
mini-firewire cable extension for his tablet PC’s DVD drive.
A couple of months later he gave me his notebook w/drive and told me
to reinstall Windows and assign to a user as he just received his
new one.
He left me alone in the IT room as he and my coworker went into the
server room to redo some network cabling. I opened the DVD drive to put
in the WinXP install disks only to find a porno movie in there. I
believe it was “Anal Times 2″. I quickly shut the tray, but then
thought that maybe I had imagined it because that doesn’t happen in real
life. I opened up the tray again and there it is, with some girl smiling back
at me as two penises share her anal cavity.
I walked into the server room giggling like a 8 year old who farted and
said “Boss, you left a movie in the drive.” At first he gets a puzzled
look but then sees me holding back my laughter and says “Oh, shit!”
Runs out and gets rid of the DVD. My coworker looks at me and says
“Porn?” and I shake my head and go into the IT room.
My boss says “I trust this won’t leave the room” and I told him it
wouldn’t. Of course his wife worked for the company so it was a few
weeks before I could make eye contact with her again.

@david….its a funny story because his boss watched porn AT WORK and then left it in the server that he asked this guy to fix! what a dope.
He watched the porn at home, and left it in the drive? And so?
So he got a NEW computer and wanted to have his existing one “cleaned up” (he probably meant reformatted, etc) so his old data wasn’t accessible, and then be assigned to someone else? Companies do this all the time.
And these are what you chose as your “oh what stories you can tell” ?? Seriously? I’d suggest that it’s not your boss is the lame one.

The number of times I see this sort of thing in computers that get brought into my store…
My “favourite” was the girl who had lost all her pictures and insisted we checked them all once we had recovered them. The first dozen or so were the closeups of everything but the fallopian tubes. It really makes it difficult to look someone in the eye after that.
When I was in the Army, one of my Drill Sergeants found a movie entitled ‘cream of the cock’ in a soldiers wall locker. Did I mention we weren’t allowed porn in the barracks and the DS was female. I LMFAO when I saw it on her desk….
Dang, that’s funny. I remember a similar incident at a place where used to work. Only the porn in question was gay porn and it was the boss’s daughter’s. You can imagine the rollicking good time we had about that! LOL

@ David..if the boss wasn’t ashamed of his porn he wouldn’t have freaked the way he did. Either he was worried his wife who also worked there would find out, or he was worried that HIS boss might find out he watched porn on company time and company computer.
Fine and dandy that he…like many other people…watches porn, but have some self control and watch it at home and his own TV/PC

Normally those that watch porn keep it out of others’ view, and generally check their disc drives before handing the PC over.
Its not that people watch porn..but people watch porn on company time. If it was anyone else, they would have been fired.
Funny how when you are higher up, you can pretty much do whatever you want. (except perhaps, when we are referring to doing your JOB)

I would have handled it a litte bit differently. Once I had completed the installation, I would have handed back the laptop and the DVD (out of the drive) to your boss at the same time, walked away without saying a word.
Just let the embarassment set in… if he pulled any shit later on, you could have an ace in your back pocket. “Remember when I found that DVD of Anal TImes 2?…”

I’m the author of the story. He didn’t get fired for it, but as I and other’s pointed out, it’s hard to look someone in the face and take them as an authority figure when you know what kinky acts they enjoy watching with their wife who also works at the company. Alyssa, it is other people’s business if they are subjected to sexual harrassment. That’s why most companies have strict policies forbidding it and zero tolerance (fired on the spot). The risk of lawsuit is too great.
