Fourth Of July…In 3-D!
A co-worker and I were talking about the long weekend that had just
passed for the 4th of July. My boss joins in saying how nice her
weekend with family had been, everyone together enjoying the cookout,
etc. They all settled down to watch fireworks and she said they were
great but she regretted not having some 3-D glasses so she could
really get the full effect.

She isn’t dumb…some fireworks displays have been offering special “3-D” glasses to view the fireworks. Walt Disney World was doing this for their Summer-Nightastic fireworks displays this summer. Must be some new trend. Doesn’t make a whole lot of sense really!

that’s not stupid. have you ever looked at fireworks with 3d glasses? Its actually pretty cool.

I thought 3-D fireworks were when people shot them at you.
Well, I don’t understand the purpose, but at our local ball park they hand out 3D glasses for the fireworks there.. so it is a thing… a stupid thing, but a thing…

So? They do sell glasses that many people use to view fireworks. The glasses add a bit of shimmer and color. I don’t think she really meant 3-D. It was just a problem of semantics.

They do have “3-D glasses” for fireworks. They’re not really 3-D of course, I think they’re just a bunch of small prisms etched into them or something. I’ve seen them for sale, but not in person. I think it just makes the blasts more colorful or something.
So….. Don’t always assume the worst.

Why do some ppl just scroll through every post trying to find something wrong with the story or the person telling it? It sounds to me like you have such a $hitty job that you’re sadly reading these stories in hopes to make yourself feel better about your job/life! I’m sure that if these ppl wanted some smart@$$ comment then they would go the stupid boss that they’re talking about!!
There are 3-D firework glasses. I’ve used them! I was skeptical but when they were offered free at a local display years ago I went ahead and tried a pair. They were a lot of fun!
