Green With Envy
My boss thinks she sets a good example, has good leadership skills,
and is captain of our work “team”. Well today is St. Patty’s Day and
she’s wearing elf ears, a green tank top, and lime green fishnets.
So….I guess that’s who I’m supposed to look up to, who I should
take advice from. She looks like a hooker, I guess that’s the example
she sets for her employees.

It’s called having some fun! My manager at work does the same thing and even encourages the employees to do so also. It makes work a little bit more bearable when you can walk in dressing funny. Get off your high horse; I doubt you could be a better manager with that kind of “I’m better than everyone” attitude!

Where does it say that she is complaining? Sure, she says she doesn’t want to look up to her anymore, but at least she is being honest about what she thought. This isn’t a sight for complaints about the boss, it’s about funny moments. When did that change?

But really, the boss is obviously trying to lighten the mood and show that there is room for a little fun. Relax and enjoy it, and if it REALLY is that offensive, talk to her or a supervisor.
If by ‘look up to’ you mean ‘aspire to be like’ then yes, this is who you should look up to. She obviously has a sense of humor and is getting into the holiday spirit, so unless you have any real complaints, like actually involving her work ethic, get over it. This post just makes you sound like an old biddy jealous over her younger, more attractive boss. Your supposed to wear green on the outside for St. Paddy’s Day, not the inside. Let the jealousy go and learn to laugh.
