Large Beef Order
I started working at my uncle’s burger joint when I was 16 and the
manager there was an absolute pig!
About 3 months after I started, the manager came up to me and asked me
to meet him in the back room. So being obedient, I did. He told me he
had a large beef order that he wanted me to take care of then proceeded to
lock the door and remove his pants. He then attempted to unbutton my
blouse, not knowing that I had pepper spray in my back pocket. I
grabbed the spray and got him in his right eye while he was messing
with my shirt. He pulled away and I screamed until my uncle ran in and
called the cops. He was put in jail and I quit my job at my uncles
restaurant.

If this were a National Lampoon’s movie, that would have been hilarious. But since it was real, I’m sorry that this happened. You should have taken a meat cleaver to his beef order.

Damn, that’s a shitty experience but I have to ask, why did you quit? The douchebag got arrested and I would hope fired so the threat was no longer there.
This I don’t buy, it sounds made up. Too trite and cheesy, and why would you just stand there after you pepper sprayed a guy who was attempting to molest you? I don’t know about anyone else but I would have booked it.
I find it a bit difficult to believe this one. The manager would pull a stunt like this when the owner (your uncle) was on site? And, rather than beat the hell out of said creep your uncle called the cops and that was all?

It’s about time I read something where the OP took action when the event occurred, not any of this, “…being so young I didn’t know what to do…”, or, “…I didn’t know about what rights I had, being so new…” I applaud you for standing up for yourself!

And as for this being unrealistic because ‘her uncle was in the next room’, people do horrible stuff all the time and people do stupid stuff all the time, why would you think people wouldn’t do horrible stuff stupidly at times?

Other than that I totally believe it, my neighbor had a similar experience in hee PARENTS Roast Beef Restaurant, with her father working that shift, and the pig tried to claim it was HER FAULT!

I carry pepper spray. I used to work as a bartender nights and lived in a really bad neighbourhood. I still keep it in my pocket along with a knife. I’m no fool. People are pigs!
I am going to assume that the people questioning why OP has pepper spray are either men or they are women who never think about the things that COULD happen in the presence of a pervert.
I kinda call BS on this too. If it were my niece being raped, you’d better believe TWO of us would have been arrested that day.
Um, I carried pepper spray with me at work at an airport, which you would probably assume is safer than a restaurant. It’s just good to have on you in all situations. You can’t exactly plan to be raped or assaulted.
I carry pepper spray. Here’s a hint to the people who are saying this isn’t real because why would he do that if her uncle was there: Perverts generally aren’t geniuses.
I’m only wondering how the door was locked but when she started screaming her uncle was able to run right in. If the door was unlocked I would’ve busted a move to get out of there after giving him a dose of pepper spray.
