problem, if the employee doesn’t have a walkie-talkie, how are they supposed to hear the announcement?
Apparently it didn’t occur to the OP or anyone else here that an employee with a walkie-talkie would hear the announcement and notify a nearby co-worker who lacked one. At least, that’s probably what the boss would have expected from a minimally cognitive workforce.
