Nina

This isn’t a bad boss story, it’s a bad coworker story. Over the
summer my stepsister (let’s call her Nina) and I got jobs as
park aids in a state park. Nina and I rarely talk so I thought it
would be cool to spend some time together. Unfortunately Nina is the
most spoiled, ignorant, stupid bitch I have ever met. Here are just a
few of the things she has said to me:

- I’m asian so it’s not racist if I call people n*ggers.

- You don’t know how hard my life has been being born in a third world country.
(She was born in Los Angeles, CA, I was born in Ensenada, Mexico. Who
was born in a poorer country?)

- My parents are so poor. (They’re not. She just wanted sympathy.)

- For my birthday I got a car but it wasn’t the right color so I don’t think I’ll drive it.

- I don’t think you should have kids because your mom was an alcoholic so that means you will be too.

- I know you’re Mexican but you can’t just take time off every time
you’re tired. (I was actually at my mother’s funeral)

- Recently she started ending every sentence with “bitch please”.

I told our supervisor (who is my dad) but he said part of life is
dealing with difficult people and to suck it up.

  1. 1) If bosses response was indicated, he is a bad boss. Regardless if it’s your dad or not.

    2) This sounds more like a crappy family than a crappy work environment. Who’s the spoiled one.

    3) I don’t care. Fuck off, it’s monday.

  3. Simple. If you have any dark-skinned friends, have them visit and speak to her. After she calles them n*ggers have them complain about her to the bosses, and she’ll get in trouble.

I’m no fan of darkies but they’re useful in situations like this.

  5. Fuck people like her.

  7. This isn’t thatsmyfamily.com. Isn’t nepotism usually frowned upon these days with civil service jobs? I’m thinking shenanigans.

  8. The Oxford Comma on January 28th, 2013
  9. No. Nepotism has been replaced with networking.

This is another fake story. See my “flow chart” from last week.

  10. T-Rex on January 28th, 2013
  11. Pixie has a good point. A good fucking or two might put her in a much better mood. Part of her problem is that she’s oversexed and underlaid.

  12. Les Moore on January 28th, 2013
  13. Let’s face it, you and your stepsister got the jobs because of your father. You have no right to complain.

By the way, your father’s reply is quite telling – he knows that your stepsister is a selfish bitch, and he’s helping you with a life lesson on how to get along in this world.

Ask him where your car is, since bitchface didn’t like the one that her poor parents gave her.

  14. Sir JP on January 28th, 2013
  15. I like the idea about setting her up with some other minorities and getting her fired. Your dad, although insensitive is right about working with difficult people. The world’s full of them.

  16. Snoopy353 on January 28th, 2013
  17. “You’ll have to deal with some nasty people” IS a good life lesson. But I agree, OP: if this story IS true, find some not-easily-upset black friends and see if they can get her to call them names, then get her fired for it.

What’s your issue with “darkies,” Les Moore? Don’t like that you have to pick your own cotton? Upset that the guy who runs the local shop added a $20 “asshole tax” to his prices, which he charges you every time you call him a ‘stupid n*gger’ when you see his college paperwork on the counter?

  18. Zephyr Skunk on January 28th, 2013
  19. must i keep reminding people? you never work with family!!!! i don’t care how much you need the money/job. you don’t work with family. period.

  20. JD Storm on January 28th, 2013
  21. It sounds to me as though your family is in desperate need of divine intervention, story teller, and some intense moral guidance. It is not surprising to hear that such a lost soul comes from a broken home. This is precisely the sort of thing that occurs when marriage vows are not taken seriously.

  22. Walternate the Costco Fareweller on January 28th, 2013
  23. The dark-skinned folk in my neck of the woods deal drugs and shoot each other, Zephyr. Or at least they did before I moved to the ‘burbs. Now I live in an area free of them.

I got no problem with the ones that are smart. Three of my friends in college were dark-skinned. I just don’t like the ones that go around being thugs, which it seems like is most of ‘em.

  24. Les Moore on January 28th, 2013
  25. STFU!

  26. urbanpossum on January 28th, 2013
  27. You’re an Asian Mexican? I think I’ll start fapping right now. Sounds hot. fap fap fap fap fap

  28. stupid on January 28th, 2013
  29. Around my area, the white people deal drugs and shoot each other as much as the black people. Crime is about living conditions, location, upbringing, and yes, intelligence; there are people from all skin colors in situations that make criminals. I think you just don’t have enough experience to know (or don’t care) that the stereotype is wrong.

Yes, VERY good point there. Do NOT get a job with family. In most cases I’ve seen, that tends to end up working out badly, for a whole bunch of reasons. I’m sure examples that break that cliche exist, but not getting into such situations, if possible, is a great way to avoid that problem. But if it really IS a huge problem, what do I usually say? Go look elsewhere.

  30. Zephyr Skunk on January 28th, 2013
  31. And actually, technically, before black people were considered, stereotypically, to be gang members and criminals, that mantle was held by the Irish.

  32. Zephyr Skunk on January 28th, 2013
  33. so, OP – you marry her brother, or did she marry yours?

I’d work that angle, whichever it may be.

Dad won’t say shit to her about her behaviour, maybe her husband . brother can tell her to stop being a bitch, and insulting his wife / sister / heritage.

  34. patricko on January 28th, 2013
  35. That’s another good option.

  36. Zephyr Skunk on January 28th, 2013
  37. Don’t talk to her about personal stuff then. Tell her if it has nothing to do with your job that she should just shut up and sit down.

Your dad is right, you are going to have to learn how to handle difficult people at all levels of business. You have to learn how to tell them you don’t care about them and move on with your life.

And for the next funeral, you tell that bitch to sit down, shut the fuck up, and mind her own god damn business, that you were at a funeral and that your life is none of her fucking business.

  38. dipwad on January 28th, 2013
  39. patricko, what’s with the marriage thing? They’re stepsisters, not sisters in law.

  40. Sir JP on January 28th, 2013
  41. I reckon Patricko engages in the heathen practice of incest and thus has a difficult time discerning other familial relationships.

  42. Walternate the Costco Fareweller on January 28th, 2013
  43. Walt, you reckon incorrectly. perhaps it’s something for which you have a pre-occupation.

I’d go with “perhaps Patricko didn’t pay enough attention when reading initial post.”

    Yup, I surely did not.

So Nina’s insulting the heritage of her mom’s husband, and her boss. And it better explains why dad did not wish to intervene.

Hey, it’s a state park. Perhaps OP could lose Nina in the woods somewhere, or arrange a tragic pit toilet accident.

  44. patricko on January 28th, 2013
  45. Zephyr Skunk I disagree. “You’ll have to deal with some nasty people” is not a life lesson, it’s an observation. A life lesson would be to show how to deal with someone like that. Daddy didn’t step up.

  46. Elvis Hitler on January 28th, 2013
  47. Wow, a mexy complaining about working outdoors? the rest o your family is doing landscaping in the hot sun and you bitching. if you were nigro i could see whining about work but lets face it, outdoor work is what your kind is suited for, or washing dishes in a resterant.

  48. Joachim on January 28th, 2013
  49. Hey Skunk… You are wound too tight today and Joachim, your spelling is atrocious.

  50. Urbanpossum on January 28th, 2013
  51. Ehh, sometimes I’m just that way. But spelling isn’t the only thing about Joachim that’s atrocious. He’s another stupid racist. Brainless, I swear, the whole lot of ‘em. Brainless and bigoted. I’d suggest a few good smacks to the head, but I doubt that’d fix them the way it sometimes fixes an old TV set.

  52. Zephyr Skunk on January 28th, 2013
  53. These bitches just don’t know how good they have it. I hate my family but I sure do miss them. Being in a feud with them is perhaps one of the most morally corrupt things I feel I’ve ever been involved in. Crazy. On a lighter note, BANKRUPTCY BITCHES! No more bills, homies! LOLs

  54. Casey Anthony on January 28th, 2013
  55. Your dad is right op. Look at it this way at least your not going to be working with that bitch forever.

  56. Kate on January 28th, 2013
  57. Hey, Casey, I saw you on tv the other night. You look quite worn out and used up. You should hire a new makeup artist, the one you’ve got isn’t doing you any favours, you don’t even look like a grieving parent, you just look like a reality tv star looking for work.

  58. Sir JP on January 29th, 2013
  59. So what. I’ll sell a book. Watch.

  60. Casey Anthony on January 29th, 2013
  61. Shes a bitch, by the way screw you Les Moore, i know your full of it when you say you had 3 dark skinned friends. people who refer to them as dark skinned people probably dont have any friends of different ethnicities.
