Sick Joke
In a conversation with the boss, he talked about how this other woman who works in my office (who had been with the company for five years) was becoming a real freak…how she was letting herself go and her new short haircut really bothered him.
Boss: “She’s probably becoming a lesbian.”
The woman he was referring to was going through chemotherapy for breast cancer. We had just left a party the company threw in her honor.

People who have cance do look strange. Maybe if they did not insist on being in everyones face then people would not make that mistake. I mean no matter why your head is bald you still look stupid. Everyone has cancer now a days. It does not make you special. I would rather not hear about it. It is not a badge of honor it is a fucking disease. So he said she looked like a freak who cares. and why are they having a party for this woman. What did she do? That is so stupid and a huge waste of time and resources.
Gina, I hope for your sake you never have to go through cancer treatments, but if you do, I hope there’s nobody like yourself around you. Nevermind the cancer, but the chemo alone is known to cause extreme physical discomfort and depression, it’s a painful process and not to mention embarrassing to lose all your hair. They were obviously throwing her a party to try and cheer her up in her difficult time. Maybe they LIKED HER. Something you clearly are not familiar with.
And “Your Mama” – through and threw are correct. Check yourself fool!

What’s with grammar school? Not everyone’s perfect (although the use in the OP is correct)…
To Gina, I really have to take a step back and look at your comment. A waste of time and resources? If so, then corporate parties, birthday parties, bachelor/ette parties, wedding parties, etc. belong in the same category of wasted time and resources. Cancer may not be a badge of honor, but chemotherapy is a way to at least stave off the disease, even if it’s not the prettiest.
I honestly hope you understand later in life what you’ve said is ridiculous, ignorant, and beyond rude.
